Clifton Vale (GB)
Design of a private garden for a Georgian town house in Bristol. The slender linear qualities of the space dictated the simplicity and flow of the scheme. The garden was conceived for minimal maintenance and flexibility of use. A calm pool was positioned at a change in level where it captures the reflection of bamboos and a coloured wall. As a means of contextualising the new design, mature planting and reclaimed hard materials from the former garden were incorporated where possible.
